| Daffron & Associates, Inc. is collaborating with QUALCOMM to incorporate Field Force Automation in Daffron's Integration X Platform (iXp) for utilities. The combination of Daffron's iXp and QUALCOMM'S mobile computing software provides an end-to-end solution that links a utility's office to its crews and vehicles in the field and automates many business processes across the enterprise.
Daffron has integrated its iXp applications with QUALCOMM applications on a real-time basis to provide a seamless and efficient digital workflow for utilities to process service orders, collections, outages (including major storms), work orders, appointments, time entry, and much more in the field.
No paperwork goes to the field and none comes back to the office. Work is prioritized and pushed to the field crews or prioritized and managed by the field crews based on their location. Dispatch has real-time information regarding vehicle location and driver as well as radio and two-way satellite communication.
This solution pays for itself by enhancing communication with work crews, automating business processes, eliminating paper and redundant data entry, providing a reliable communication channel during severe storms, and much more. All of these benefits ultimately translate to enhanced customer service and attractive ROI.
